Conditions of membership
In order to be eligible for membership of the BRTMA an applicant must:
- Be a manufacturer of Rootzones and/or Top Dressings, having full control over the manufacturing process
- Be a manufacturer of a range of Rootzones and/or Top Dressings of which a number must conform to a standard approved by the Association’s appointed Testing House i.e. USGA or UK guidelines.
- Supply according to the Guidelines for the Purchase and Supply of Rootzones dated 1st February 2008.
- Operate a written quality procedure
- Have been established for a minimum of 2 years
- Be able to demonstrate the ability and resources to maintain consistent supplies over a period of time
- Demonstrate an ability and willingness to comply with all relevant legislation affecting manufacturing operations e.g. Health & Safety at Work Act 1974, the Environmental Protection Act 1994 and any other appropriate acts
- Hold adequate Public and Product Liability Insurance
- Support the Aims and Objectives of the Association as above
- Pay an annual membership subscription to the Association
